SBM Bank beat Zuri Hotels Resort 8-2.5 to sound their intentions to win the Horseman Cup at Nairobi Polo Club on Saturday.

International Tiva Gross and Will Millar each scored three goals before Tom Stonewigg added another as they marched towards the title in the four team competition.

Natasha Tisminiszesky and Meggan Griffiths scored the consolation goals for the losers in the one sided match.

After a dismal performance on the first day, Mamba Polo made a formidable comeback to overcome BM Security 5.5-4 in the Welby Trophy, the Division Championships of the Horseman Cup yesterday.

The win was a big relief to Mamba Polo who on Friday failed to use the half fraction goal advantage to go past Team 24:7 who beat them 5-4.5.

Yesterday, Lochlan Murray was still on good form when he scored four of the five goals that steered his team to victory as sibling Vesper Murray added another to flex their muscle against BM Security.

Madga Jurkowiecka (two), Lochie Stichbury and Will Millar replied for BM Security.
